General Job Descriptions: While we hire students to work a specific desk, they may be required to do cross-training. We are also open to students who want to assist with projects on other floors in the library. We are a collaborative team and appreciate student staff who want to share their ideas for making the library better.
Circulation: Located on the Library's main floor, the circulation desk is the main hub for the library. Our student specialists check out library materials and course reserves, assist students with study room appointments, and answer general questions.
Online Student Support: This service desk is located on the 1st floor of the library. Students at the Online Student Support Desk handle circulation of our equipment lending program. They also assist students who need support with technology online and on ground. Special projects for this desk include captioning videos for the campus. This desk is great for students who are interested in technology.
